Busselton Fresh IGA
Very near to where I live is a long standing little shopping centre in West Busselton known to the locals as "Pricies". The centre contains a variety of shops including a Cape Cellars, Australia Post, a chemist, a little cafe and the really gorgeously laid out and family run Busselton Fresh IGA.
Renee at Fat Red Bird designs recommended us to Tanya and Clint as they needed a photographer in Busselton to create a bank of images they could use for marketing purposes.
Prior to the shoot Jill and I liaised with Tanya and Clint to create a shot list highlighting gourmet foods made in their store or products and produce sourced from local food suppliers in the Busselton, Dunsborough and Margaret River Region.
The photoshoot was a blast and the staff were so great to work with. It was really pleasing to see Tanya put her chef's skills to use as they also prepare and bake a variety of dishes in-house such as fresh bread, croissants, pastries, stuffed mushrooms (their biggest seller) and meats along with a variety of gourmet sausages.
In the recent Covid-19 outbreak their regular click and collect service was kept super busy with many local customers appreciating this essential service.
Since the shoot Tanya has been posting regularly on social media to promote their business and the locally sourced produce they stock. It is so wonderful to see local people selling local produce and our images telling their story.
